Rev. Eric Rodes

Rector (Pastor)
Originally from West Virginia, Eric is a 2004 graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary. After growing up in the Evangelical world and spending 10 years as a pastor in an independent church, Eric sensed a calling into Anglicanism. He walked the Canterbury Trail and was ordained both deacon and priest in 2014. After serving as the Assistant Rector for four years in a vibrant and young Anglican congregation in Grove City, PA, Eric accepted the call to become the Rector at Christ the Redeemer in 2018.
Eric is deeply influenced by the Protestant Reformation's emphasis on grace and faith alone for the redemption of all humanity, the centrality of the cross of Jesus in the work of God, and the necessity of God's grace for daily living.
Married in 1998, Eric and Beth have three beautiful and growing daughters. Beth has worked for many years as an educator. When he isn't working in the ministry, the Rodes family enjoys family game nights, camping, archery, and kayaking. There are lots of girly things too, but Eric stays away from "spa night".

Nancy Cain McCombe serves as Deacon and Parish Ministry Coordinator. She is very happy to be the first face of the Parish! She has been a member of this congregation for a long time and was married to her husband David in our old sanctuary in Peters Township in 1995. She is a lifelong resident of Peters Township and lives right down the street from where she was raised on Center Church Road. Daughter Katie purchased her childhood home. It is such a blessing that the home gets to stay in the family. David and Nancy are very happy to be close to her daughter, son-in-law, and grandkids.

It is within this community of believers where Nancy learned about the Lord, and where her personal relationship with Him started. She has taken many classes through the church and taught a few, which as both student and teacher has enriched her faith. Serving on teams has been a joy.
On June 6th, 2015, Nancy was ordained as a Deacon in the Anglican Diocese of Pittsburgh after much encouragement and support from the clergy and the congregation.

David and Nancy enjoy traveling, especially back to his hometown, and riding roller coasters wherever we can find them! Their family is a member of American Coaster Enthusiasts and often win tickets to places they didn’t know had coasters to ride making it a lot of fun.

Parish Ministry Coordinator
A lifelong Anglican, Katie has a love for Anglican worship, and a breadth of experience in both traditional more contemporary forms of hymnody.
Katie and her husband Zach have served in music ministries in various contexts for most of their lives. We are very happy to have them worshipping with us now. They have three children, and are excited to see where the Lord might lead us at Christ the Redeemer.
